Toronto Jr Jills and another calendar video from 97Rock

Instead of having a Jr Jills performance at the preseason game in Toronto, the Jills went a different route and had the Toronto Argonauts cheerleaders join them in a somewhat similar fashion to the combined performance the Jills and Titans cheerleaders put on in Canton last summer. They haven't forgotten about the youth in Toronto, though. The Bills in Toronto series features the Bears on November 7th and the Jills are inviting young ladies in the Toronto area ages 7-17 the chance to perform as Jr Jills for that game. Registration is due by October 18th and mandatory practice dates are November 4th and 5th at the Rogers Centre from 6-9pm both evenings. Get all the details as well as registration form at http://buffalojills.net/Article.asp?id=1867404&spid=34534
Also, from 97Rock comes another video promoting the just-released Buffalo Jills Calendar, which you can now order online at http://www.buffalojills.com//Article.asp?id=1968982 This one doesn't feature Rob Lederman professing his love for all the Jills as he leafs through the calendar, though. Instead, 2nd year dancer Gabrielle gives the viewers a look inside the calendar. Check it out at http://www.97rock.com/video.asp?vxSiteId=a8efb803-28f5-452a-ae02-9bd81b149a81&vxChannel=WGRF%2DFM%20Originals&vxClipId=2381_1060509&vxBitrate=300

Pics from Albany

WQBK in Albany is a big supporter of the Buffalo Jills every year. This year they introduced a segment called Keisha's picks in which Jills Ambassador Squad captain Keisha makes football picks every week in a competition with their afternoon guy Mrozek. The loser at the end of the season has to eat a dozen Atomic wings and since we don't want Keisha's taste buds burned off, we're obviously rooting for her. You can tune in at 103.5 ands 103.9 in the Capital Region or online at http://q103albany.com/Home/tabid/967/Default.aspx
This past weekend, they did a little bit more as they brought in Gabrielle and Jaclyn to meet with fans all weekend as well as sell a few calendars judging by the pics. These two beautiful dancers seemed to have as much fun meeting everyone as the fans did themselves. You can take a look at all the pics at http://q103albany.com/QPhotos/tabid/987/Default.aspx

Photos from the Pats 97Rock Away Game Party and Blasdell Pizza

With a change at QB, the Bills went into Gillette Stadium today where they've never won and came up short in an exciting game that gave fans hope to see the season at least made respectable with a 38-30 loss to New England. Nowhere were the cheers louder than at the Aud Sports Bar in Depew where Jickster and the Jills were for the 97Rock Away Game party.

Of course, the cheers weren't just for the plays as Michelle and Alyssa of the Jills were there with the new Buffalo Jills Calendar to sell and autograph for the fans. Considering Michelle went through her whole stock of calendars and has to get more, I'd say the calendars were a hit.

After the game, it was off to Blasdell Pizza where Jills were stationed at 3 locations with their calendars as well. I swung by the location near the stadium myself and got to spend some time with rookie dancers Amanda V and Danielle as they sold some calendars and signed some autographs for the fans.
Next up for the Jills, they're back in action at Ralph Wilson Stadium the next 2 weekends as the Bills host the Jets and then the Jaguars. Don't forget to stop in the Fieldhouse to say hi to a pair of the Jills Ambassadors as well as stop by the 97Rock and 103.3 The Edge Tailgate parties to see more of the Ambassadors and get your calendars before they run out. And don't forget to be there at the Edge Tailgate at 11:30 to see some of the Buffalo Jills dancers perform; a new addition to that tailgate party this season.
In non-Jills news, Bandettes tryouts take place this Saturday and Sunday at Gold's Gym in Depew. Go to http://www.bandits.com/article.asp?cType=News&artID=197 for all the info on this event that's closed to the public.

Buffalo Jill of The Week Schedule

At long last, the 2010-2011 Buffalo Jills Calendar is out and it looks to be the hottest one yet. In fact, we're encouraging everyone to buy fire extinguishers to go with the calendars as they may spontaneously combust as hot as they are. This year, the photos were taken by the illustrious Brian Garman in Jamaica as well as in various spots around Western NY. Gracing the cover this year are 3rd year vet Anna and rookie Meghan. With the calendar, we now have a Jill of The Week schedule and we're displaying it to everyone so you know what dates to circle on your calendars to watch for your favorite Buffalo Jills. However, keep in mind that the girls also get some face time on some of their squadmates' features as well with the secondary photos that feature a small group of Jills. So you may as well check it out every week. New this year will be something extra in the Jill of The Week features including secondary photos posted in each feature here on the blog and dance videos from the dancers.

The Jill of The Week schedule is based purely on where the Jills are featured in the calendar and, for anyone unfamiliar with the feature, is designed to give each of these beautiful young ladies a chance to shine individually as well as with the squad. After all, while they've worked hard to become a part of a great group, that hard work should merit recognition for each of them individually as well. Out of all the parts of running this site that I do, this is the one that gives me the most joy because I know how excited a lot of the girls get in seeing their own feature and I only hope that they love the extra aspect this season.

More on the Buffalo Jills Calendar

First of all, saying this year's calendar is hot would be an understatement. Don't believe me? Check out this video of 97Rock's Rob Lederman getting his first look at the calendar at http://www.97rock.com/video.asp?vxSiteId=a8efb803-28f5-452a-ae02-9bd81b149a81&vxChannel=WGRF%2DFM%20Originals&vxClipId=2381_1057631&vxBitrate=300

Obviously any guy would love to get one and you can get them from any of the Jills at their appearances. Tomorrow is an excellent chance to get them and get some autographs as well. First up is the 97Rock Away Game Party at the Aud Sports Bar in Depew. Besides drink specials, a halftime buffet, 50-cent wings, and plenty of giveaways from Jickster and 97Rock, a pair of Jills is there for every away game this season.
After that, Blasdell Pizza is the place to be as there will be members of the Jills will be at all 3 of the Buffalo area locations from 3-5 selling and signing their 2010-2011 swimsuit calendars. Just stop by locations on South Park in Blasdell, Seneca St in Buffalo, or Southwestern Blvd in Hamburg to get yours. http://www.blasdellpizzawings.com/locations.html
Also, the Buffalo Pro Cheer Jill of The Week schedule will be posted soon after I get my copy of the calendar but as you can plainly see, the series has started with last year's Dance Vet of the Year Lisa. Stay tuned for the rest of the schedule before the weekend is out.

Buffalo Jill of The Week Lisa

We start off the 2010-2011 Buffalo Jill of The Week series with a fan favorite in 4th year vet Lisa. This 2007 dance Rookie of The Year is coming off a season in which she won the Veteran of The Year award from the squad. Pretty big awards when you consider she missed the cut the first time she tried out for the Jills. It definitely adds credence to the fact that missing the cut once doesn't mean you can't make it later. There's a lot of people now who can be thankful that Lisa didn't quit after 1 disappointment. Her accomplishments are also strong enough that the Bills tabbed her to do a few blog posts for this year's tryouts. You can read those at http://buffalojills.net/article.asp?id=1761770 She can be found on gamedays dancing on Christina's line between Amanda V and Danielle. That's definitely going to end up being great for those two working next to Lisa. Away from the field, she's generally in the middle of the action wherever she is, but doesn't try to be. People just naturally gravitate towards her. In the case of guys, it's obvious...she's gorgeous with a killer smile and a fantastic figure. But for those of us that know her, her looks are an afterthought in the grand scheme of things. She's outgoing and loves to see everyone with her having a good time. On a personal note, everyone who knows me knows that I've gone by the nickname Philster since high school. Well, a couple of years ago, Lisa decided I needed a new one and came up with one that a few of the other girls have picked up on partially. They only use part of it, though and no, I'm not going to divulge the full nickname because it would just seem strange somehow hearing anyone but Lisa say it...lol. Beyond that though, she's been cheering since the age of 4 including a few years on a National Champion All-Star squad and has spent some time coaching high school cheerleading as well. Lisa's secondary photo this week is from the 8th Annual Buffalo Jills Golf Tournament and features Lisa, Kelly, Murissa, and Emily with the General Manager of Westwood Country Club, where this year's Tourney was held.

Here's a new feature for the Jill of The Week series...Lisa's dance routine from this year's 1st cuts. She and Valerie danced together as numbers 1 and 2 so that's Lisa on the right in the video.

Jills alumnus taking a director's role in the UFL

Buffalo fans should be well aware of the United Football League, the fledgling league that started up last year and ended the season with former Bills QB JP Losman hoisting the first UFL Championship Trophy. Well, there's now another Buffalo connection in a leadership role in that league as Jills alumnus Elizabeth Morgan (2004-05) taking the helm as the director of the Hartford Colonials Cheerleaders. In addition to her time with the Jills, including spending the 2005 season as Omarlla's co-captain, she also spent 5 years combined cheering for the Hamilton Tiger Cats and the Toronto Argonauts. In addition to all that, she is the founder and director of Expressions Dance Arts in St Thomas, Ontario. The link is up here at the Buffalo Pro Cheer Blog. Thanks to James Blakey at Ultimate Cheerleaders.com for the heads up and the photo taken at Saturday's game.

Pics from the 97Rock Away Game party at the Aud-Packers game

Vincenza, Jickster, Gina
The last few years, Citadel Broadcasting, the primary sponsors of the Buffalo Jills, have gone all out for Away games in addition to the big parties it throws for home games. 103.3 The Edge held Away game parties partnered with a local sports bar including drink and food specials as well as plenty of giveaways. They also made sure to bring in a pair of Buffalo Jills cheerleaders, in uniform, for the games. This year, 97Rock and DJ Jickster have taken the ball and run with it, to borrow a football analogy. Like last year, this year's parties are held at the Aud Sports Bar on Transit Road in Depew, a place named after the famed Memorial Auditorium which comes complete with plenty of memorabilia from the old Aud. For today's event, fans got free raffle tickets and anytime the score changed in the first half, they got to choose any of a number of prizes from the table filled with plenty of stuff like t-shirts, keychains, bottle coozies, and lots more in addition to drawings for larger prizes. Also, in attendance were a pair of beautiful Buffalo Jills Ambassador Squad members in the forms of rookie Gina and 4th year vet Vincenza. They helped with prizes, talked to fans, and took photos while watching the game with everyone. Check out the pics at http://s15.photobucket.com/albums/a375/buffalojills2005/2010/Packers-Road/
Next week, it's going to get bigger so make sure to show up earlier than just before kickoff to enjoy the festivities. While I don't know exactly what extra stuff Jickster will have going on, I can tell you that there will be calendars for sale at long last. The calendars finally arrived from the printers the other day and the girls will be picking them up this week. While it's definitely turned into a much longer wait than normal, I can assure everyone that, going off the cover shot that was shown at the Golf Tourney and by knowing Jills photographer Brian Garman's work, it'll be worth the wait.

BVB Game pics

This year was the 2nd annual game in Buffalo for the Blondes Vs Brunettes organization, a group which pits women against one another in a powderpuff football game with the proceeds going to benefit the WNY Alzheimer's Association. Like last year, the 2nd annual game was played at Sweet Home High School in Amherst and the teams were coached by fitness trainers from Gold's Gym, the official fitness center of the Buffalo Jills.
Speaking of the Jills, they were once again involved as a pair of ambassadors and a half dozen dancers were on hand selling raffle tickets and greeting fans throughout the game. In addition, the dancers put on a small halftime performance to a medley of Bon Jovi hits, similar to their pregame performance last Sunday at the Bills Home Opener.

Danielle, Kelly, Eileen, Omarlla, Christina, Lisa, and Meghan
That was where the similarities ended. For one, the turnout was a lot larger both in the crowd and in the participants. Jills director Stephanie M didn't play this year but last year's Brunette MVP Danielle H (1998-2002) was one of 6 Jills alumni in the game this year. Also, the 12-12 tie didn't happen this year as the Brunettes took down their blond counterparts by a score of 34-18. Despite the score, the blondes seemed to have as much fun as the brunettes but are definitely looking for revenge next year!

Check out the pics at http://s15.photobucket.com/albums/a375/buffalojills2005/2010/BVB%20Game/
And here's the Jills alumni roster with numbers (not phone numbers...sorry guys)
Brunettes
#72 Danielle H (1998-2002)
#68 Jenn C (1997-2004)
#43 Francine (2000-04)
Blondes
#43 Kimberly (1996-99)
#17 Amanda F (2001-03) and Bandettes (2006-07)
#8 Dana (2008)

Stay tuned for info on next year's game as well as other events like the kickoff party.
Coming up next for the Jills, they've got 97Rock Away game parties at the Aud the next two weeks. They'll be there to help with prizes, sign autographs, and pose for photos as well as to watch the Bills win some games. The Aud will also have drink specials, 50-cent wings, and a halftime buffet for the game as well.

More photos from the Opener and a video with Kelly

Check out BuffaloJills.com to see some exclusive onfield photos of the Jills from their pregame performance on Sunday.

Also, check out this video of 2009 Buffalo Jills dance rookie Kelly, a contributing writer at Buffalo Rising as well as a beautiful and talented dancer.

Buffalo Pro Cheer Photos of The Week

Barring any unforeseen delays on the calendar, this should be the last edition of the Photos of The Week this year with the Buffalo Jill of The Week series starting up next week. This week, in regards to the Jills, we're going to tell you about a new feature to your Bills pregame for each home game this season. As most know, 97Rock carries the official Bills pregame show starting at 8am each gameday. At 11:30, an hour and a half before kickoff, 103.3 The Edge joins the broadcast with a slight delay. The Edge's broadcast is synced up with the television broadcast while 97Rock's broadcast is synced up with the live action at the stadium, allowing fans to turn the volume down and listen to the official Bills coverage from Murph and Kelso if they desire.
Before 11:30 though, the Edge's afternoon radio hosts, Shredd and Ragan, are broadcasting live from their new tailgate location in Lot C in front of the stadium behind the scoreboard. When the Edge switches to pregame, a new feature is brought to the tailgate party, one of great interest to fans of the Buffalo Jills. We already know that members of the ambassador squad can be found inside the Fieldhouse and at the 97Rock and 103.3 The Edge tailgate parties...but this year, members of the Buffalo Jills dancers will perform at the Edge tailgate party as well. If you aren't sitting up close as the Jills dance following the 3rd quarter, this is a great chance to see them dance up close as well as get to meet the beautiful and talented dancers and get pictures and autographs as well.

Anna, Jackie, Loren, Natalie, Christina, Gina, Taryn, and Courteney

Laura, Valerie, Angelina, Eileen, Lisa, Katie, Omarlla, and Jill

Ashley, Stephanie, Lauren B, Amanda, Justina, Melissa, and Beth
From the Bandettes, we have a photo taken during pregame of the January game against the Minnesota Swarm. Shown smiling for the camera while waiting to take the field for their pregame performance are Ashley, Stephanie, Lauren B, Amanda, Justina, Melissa, and Beth. Amanda is the only one of these young ladies on record as saying she won't be back for 2011, having moved out of the area. Hopefully we'll see the rest of these girls back after tryouts take place October 2nd and 3rd at Gold's Gym in Depew. Everyone but the captains have to try out but even if all the vets make it back, there's at least 4 spots up for grabs.

Jills heading to Albany and Keisha is picking some games this season

First off, we'll let you know about some appearances coming up next weekend in Albany. WQBK is sponsoring a Jills visit to the Capital region which will have a pair of Jills at 6 different locations Saturday the 25th and Sunday the 26th.

Saturday
  • 8-9:30p The Center Square Pub Schenectady
  • 10-11:30p Smokey Bones Colonie
  • midnight-1:30a Washington Tavern Albany
Sunday
  • 12:30-2p Swifty's Delmar
  • 2:30-4p Sutter's Mill Albany
  • 5-6p The Recovery Room Amsterdam

Finally, Buffalo Jills Ambassador Squad Captain Keisha will be picking 3 games each week but isn't just picking the games. She has a little competition in Q103's afternoon guy Mrozek and the loser at the end of the season has to eat 12 Atomic Hot Wings. Keisha may like wings but this might be a bit much so we're hoping she wins by the end of the season. Tune in to Q103 at 103.5 or 103.9 Friday afternoons at 4:30 to hear Keisha's picks. If you're out of the area, as many of us are who read this blog, you can tune in online as well. Check out Q103's site at http://www.wqbk.com/BuffaloBills/KeishasPicks/tabid/13977/Default.aspx

Five Questions With... Omarlla: Cheerleader

Get to know a Buffalonian...
As every Buffalo Bills fan knows, rooting for the team has been a trying experience of late. With that in mind, its hard not to gain a greater appreciation for the tireless and talented efforts of the Buffalo Jills cheerleading squad. Omarlla (last name withheld for privacy reasons), a team captain entering her 11th season with the squad, is among those whose spirits will never dim. A curriculum coordinator for a local elementary school by day, Omarlla is unequivocal in her belief that Buffalo fans are the best in the league.

The Buffalo Jills at the Bills' Home Opener

The Bills game against Miami was nothing write home about. The defense performed better than expected, special teams were much improved over the preseason, and WRs Steve Johnson and David Nelson put up 3 catches apiece. However, QB and O-line play were issues as Edwards consistently missed seeing wide open WRs and the line couldn't sustain blocks long enough to allow the running game to work in a 15-10 loss.

Alyssa, Amanda F, Lauren S of the Bandettes, Vincenza, and Jessica at 97Rock Tailgate Party
Thankfully, this blog is about something more entertaining as well as beautiful. Keisha and Lindsay of the Buffalo Jills Ambassador Squad spent pregame in the Fieldhouse signing autographs and posing for photos before helping with the giveaways and gameday contests during the game. Across the street from the stadium, Amanda F, Alyssa, Vincenza, and Jessica W were at the 97Rock tailgate party which was a lot larger than normal with a dunk tank as well as some carnival type games. Back in Lot C, where 103.3 The Edge was holding their tailgate, Laura, Taryn, Gina, and Courteney were on hand to sign autographs and pose for photos. Lot C is the new location for the 103.3 The Edge Tailgate party where afternoon hosts Shredd and Ragan were broadcasting live until 11:30.

Anna, Jackie, Loren, Natalie, Christina, Gina, Taryn, and Courteney at The Edge Tailgate Party
At 11:30, when the Edge started broadcasting the Bills pregame show, a new feature was added to the tailgate party to keep the fans entertained. Members of the Buffalo Jills dancers were on hand to sign autographs, pose for photos, and of course, to perform to the tune of AC/DC's Back in Black. This is a new feature of the 103.3 The Edge tailgate party and not just a 1-time thing so be sure to head over to Lot C by 11:30 every home game to see the girls perform in person.

Lindsey and Kelly
Next up, see some of the Jills cheer on the Blondes and the Brunettes in the 2nd annual Blondes Vs Brunettes powderpuff football game Saturday in a game that benefits the WNY Alzheimer's Association and features 6 Buffalo Jills alumni. The game is at 2pm at Sweet Home High School in Amherst and tickets are available for $10 at the gate as well as in advance at http://www.bvbbuffalo.org/
With the Bills on the road the next two weeks, the place to be is the Aud Sports Bar in Depew as they host members of the Jills every away game with calendars (expected out this week!), photos, and autographs.

The Jills in Dunkirk for Music on the Pier

Everyone knows the Jills' main sponsor is Citadel Radio but they also have a wide array of sponsors who support them on a yearly basis as well. With those sponsorships, the girls do a number of appearances for them throughout the year. One of this year's sponsors is Chadwick Bay, a drink company that specializes in teas, juices, and smoothies. Based out of Dunkirk, NY, they are a big part of Dunkirk's Music on the Pier series that takes place every summer. Last night was the final performance of the summer at the Dunkirk pier and on hand for the event were Stefanie and Keisha of the Buffalo Jills, who braved a very windy evening to help with games, giveaways, and a contest for a Bills VIP experience. Check out the photos at http://s15.photobucket.com/albums/a375/buffalojills2005/2010/Dunkirk/ and learn more about Chadwick Bay at http://www.chadwickbaybeverages.com/
As far as the Jills, there's a lot of news to share.
  • The calendar we've been waiting for is having a few delays...latest expectation is next Thursday so and there are appearances to get them at on the weekend. Keep your fingers crossed but let me assure you, after having seen the cover as well as knowing Brian Garman's work, it'll be worth the wait and so will the Jill of The Week series if I do say so myself with something extra getting added to it this year.
  • Johnny's Irish Pub in Rochester is hosting a USO benefit Saturday night complete with an appearance by members of the Buffalo Jills.
  • This Sunday is the Bills home opener and they're hosting the despised Miami Dolphins. The game is sold out so seeing the product on the field in person is out unless you have a ticket or know a scalper...which is always a possibility. However, you can see the Jills before the game. There will be ambassadors inside the Fieldhouse and at the 97Rock and 103.3 The Edge Tailgate parties. 97Rock will be at the same location but The Edge will be over near the scoreboard in Lot C and they have something extra happening for the opener. At 11:30, the Buffalo Jills dancers will be performing for the fans.
  • Next Saturday is the Blondes Vs Brunettes game, featuring 6 Jills alumni suiting up to play some powder puff football to benefit the WNY Alzheimer's Association. There will also be a halftime performance by members of the Buffalo Jills, who will be cheering on the sidelines as well as selling raffle tickets to support the cause.
  • Next Sunday kicks off the away game parties at the Aud Sports Bar in Depew, where we'll have a pair of Buffalo Jills there every game. I'll get some more details on what to expect as far as gameday specials this year and pass them along as this isn't an Edge event like last year.
  • Finally, everyone should remember the highly successful Jills Open Practice held last September in the Bills Fieldhouse. The turnout wasn't as strong in June but we're expecting another great turnout for the one that just got announced, November 16th from 6:30-8:30. The cost is $5 for participants ages 5-17 and $3 for spectators. The event last year wasn't expected to have more than a moderate turnout but the Jills got a much larger than expected group but were well-prepared for it and all the participants and spectators had a great time.

Buffalo Pro Cheer Photos of The Week

Christina's line
As we wait to get our hands on a copy of the Jills 2010-2011 Calendar, we take a last few weeks at some more photos to get everyone acquainted with the current squad. Last week we looked at the dance lines of 11th year vets Omarlla and Eileen and this week it's time to look at Christina's line. From left to right we have Jen, Anna, Jill, Valerie, Morgan, Christina, Amanda V, Lisa, Danielle, and Gabrielle.

Laura, Amanda F
We couldn't get all of the ambassadors in one spot at the Bengals game but we did get the 2 that drew on-field duty together at halftime. Shown here are 4th year vets Laura and Amanda F. Laura is known as the host of Redfield Redzone on ESPN2, with only 2 episodes left for the season, and Amanda is the lone co-captain on the Jills, as she and Keisha are running the ambassador squad together this season.

Chelsea, Kirsten
From the Bandettes, we have a photo from the 2nd game hosting the Toronto Rock last season, the same team the Bandits face in the home opener on January 22nd. Pictured here before the game as the Bandettes were signing autographs are rookie Chelsea and 2nd year vet Kirsten. Given her love of getting on camera, I would have to imagine Chelsea intends to return and Kirsten, who I ran into this past weekend, has the tryout dates circled on her calendar. October 2nd and 3rd are the dates for anyone who wants to try out for the Bandettes and join these beautiful young ladies dancing at Bandits games this January-May.

From Dansville Mustang to Buffalo Jill

Dansville —
A cheerleader since the age of 6, one Dansville native has made it to the big leagues – literally.

Jessica, a 2007 Dansville High School graduate, is now a member of the Buffalo Jills Ambassador cheerleading squad.

As an ambassador, Jessica has made an estimated 20 to 25 personal appearances since she joined the team in March, plus has so far participated in two Bills’ preseason games – one in Toronto and the second in Buffalo.

It was “amazing,” she said of her first opportunity to be a Jill during a game, commenting that it is remarkably more exciting than being at a game as a spectator.
An ambassador is a non-performing member of the cheerleading squad. As an ambassador, Jessica makes personal appearances at corporate and charity functions, plus meets fans during games.

Buffalo Pro Cheer Photos of The Week

We're continuing the offseason Photos of The Week series just a few more weeks while we wait for the Jills Calendar to arrive from the printer and we're featuring a pair of line shots taken at last weekend's Bengals preseason game in this week's edition.

Omarlla's line
First up is the line captained by 11th year veteran Omarlla. From left to right are Jaclyn, Jackie, Kristen, Omarlla, Lindsey, Kelly, Brianne, and Loren. Jaclyn and Lindsey are the lone rookies on the line with Kristen having moved over from the ambassador squad this season and Brianne coming back to the squad after taking 2 seasons off.

Eileen's line
Our 2nd line shot is of 11th year vet Eileen's line with Christina's line coming next week along with some ambassador photos. From left to right are Reena, Murissa, Nicole, Katie, Stacy, Eileen, Emily, Stefanie, and Natalie. Reena, Emily, and Natalie are the brand new faces on the squad from this line with Nicole being the other ambassador who switched to dance this year. Stacy returns to the squad after having served as a Jill in the early part of 2007.

Melissa, Lauren S
Our Bandettes Photo of The Week comes from the Pearl Street Postgame party following the home opener against the Rochester Knighthawks and features 6th year vet Melissa and 2nd year vet Lauren S. Both young ladies are expected to return to the squad this year with Melissa having spent the last few years as a co-captain and Lauren simply loving every minute she spends as a Bandette. However, with 3 already known departures from the squad that finished the season, there are definitely spots available to join these two ladies dancing with the Bandettes. Tryouts happen October 2nd and 3rd at the Gold's Gym in Depew!
