Besides snow, one of the things that Buffalo is best known for is the food. To showcase the restaurants in the Buffalo region, the Taste of Buffalo festival was founded. The 26th Annual Taste of Buffalo took place this weekend in Niagara Square and along Delaware Avenue in downtown Buffalo. This year's event featured 60 restaurants and 6 wineries all selling samples of their products. Putting in an appearance at the event were members of the 2009 Buffalo Jills, there to sign autographs, pose for pictures, and hand out Bills schedules to the thousands and thousands of fans. On Sunday, fans not only got to reacquaint themselves with veterans Amanda, Angelina, Jackie and Anna, but also got to meet rookies Lindsay and Loren.
Coming up next for the Jills, they'll be working with their Jr Jills next weekend before spending a week running Cheer Elite Camp 2009 at NCCC. The big event to look forward to for the fans, however, is the 7th Annual Buffalo Jills Golf Tournament at Fox Valley Country Club in Lancaster, NY on July 20th.
