Looking back at Lindsey's 2014 season as an Atlanta Falcons Cheerleaders

Lindsey at tryouts
Once again, we are taking a look at a Buffalo Jill who was fortunate enough to continue to cheer in 2014, albeit with another squad. Lindsey kind of started her career a few years before she tried out for the Jills. She was a frequent attendee at Jills events supporting her friend Lisa and it was only a matter of time before she joined the squad herself. Lindsey spent the 2010-12 seasons on the sidelines at the Ralph and even made co-captain for the 2013, serving under Lisa. However, she decided to leave the squad early on but the desire to cheer was still in her blood. After landing a job in the Atlanta area, she went after a spot as an Atlanta Falcons Cheerleader and, to the surprise of no one, was named a member of the 2014-15 Atlanta Falcons Cheerleaders!

Lindsey also has some active public social media pages like her Facebook page, where she posted some photos taken from the recent Medal of Honor Bowl that she and some of her squadmates cheered at. She even met a Bills fan there! https://www.facebook.com/falconslindsey

Buffalo Jill of The Week Lindsey

This week, we take a look at 4th year vet Lindsey as our Buffalo Jill of The Week. Unfortunately, her incredible smile has been absent from the sidelines the last few months but she came into the season as Lisa's co-captain, joining the girl who brought her onto the squad. Longtime friends, Lindsey used to come to Jills events to support Lisa before joining her herself. Her bright smile could be found while dancing between Shelby G and Natalie. Lindsey has had a pretty solid career with the Jills and even performed while injured, a hamstring pull her rookie season that kept her out of some of the larger performances. Thankfully, she was able to perform in the largest show of her career, the halftime performance in Toronto with Hinder. Working as a fundraiser for a local charity organization, she's recently returned to school for her Master's degree...where she's likely got all her male classmates wishing they could trade places with her longtime boyfriend, who besides having Lindsey, beautiful inside and out, on his arm, became a successful businessman at a pretty young age. With Lindsey's marketing skills, the sky is the limit for the two of them. See all of Lindsey's pics at https://buffaloprocheerbuffalojills.shutterfly.com/jillsindividualpics/6844 Lindsey's secondary photo comes from the Bills Opener against the Pats. Shown performing late in the 1st quarter are Natalie, Lindsey, and Allysha.

From the Bandettes comes an edited photo with a pic from last year's Open Practice and from this year's Open Scrimmage. In a photo that shows off the class and how the Bandettes treat their rookies, we have Stephanie introducing Danielle and getting a picture with her at last year's Open Practice. Danielle paid it forward at this year's Open Scrimmage and posed with rookie Mandy for the camera.

Buffalo Jill of The Week Lindsey C

photo Lindsey_zpsf29c9c12.jpgThis week, we look at Lindsey C as our Buffalo Jill of The Week. Currently starting her 4th season on the Jills, Lindsey is beginning her 1st season as a co-captain. Her making the jump to co-captain should be no big surprise to anyone who knows her. Working at a local non-profit organization, her role is in fundraising and who could say no to her pretty smile? She’s also regularly active with the Jacquie For All Foundation, an organization dedicated to helping fight Acute Lymphocytic Leukemia. To do all the fundraising she does, you have to be good at getting people to do things, which is a part of leadership, including being a cheerleading captain. You can read more about Lindsey at http://buffalojills.com/profile.php?PID=84 Lindsey's secondary photo comes from the Bills-Seahawks game in Toronto courtesy of Pro Bowl Dan and taken in the 4th quarter. Shown performing for the crowd are Amanda, Loren, and Lindsey C.

Meet Lindsey in this short video shot at tryouts last April.

Besides being a knockout and a sweetheart, Lindsey is quite the dancer as seen in this video from last year's 1st cuts, where Lindsey is shown dancing alongside Jacki.

Buffalo Jill of The Week Lindsey

This week, we take a look at 2nd year vet Lindsey as our Buffalo Jill of The week. Lindsey spent the season lighting up Omarlla's line with her pretty smile between Briana and Myesha. Last year, we told you how she joined the squad after one of her closest friends, Lisa, kept raving about her experiences. Well, she paid it forward a little as one of this year's rookies, Melissa, has been a close friend for quite a while as well. Even though Melissa told me the biggest reason she made the switch over to the Jills, you just have to think Lindsey had a hand in it as well. She's pretty good at convincing people to do things which works out well in the fundraising she does as part of her job. You can read more about Lindsey at http://www.buffalojills.net/article.asp?id=1968615 Lindsey's secondary photo comes from the recent Jills Comedy Show. While people were taking their seats, some of the girls posed for photos. Shown are Krystin, Lindsey, and Emily.

Lindsey has a lot more than that incredible smile going for her in making the Jills as she's also an exceptional dancer as well as seen in her video from 1st cuts last April.

Buffalo Jill of The Week Lindsey

This week, we take a look at one of our fantastic rookies as our Buffalo Jill of The Week. Frequently, veteran Buffalo Jills bring friends along to tryout for the squad. With all the enjoyable experiences that the Jills have, it's only natural that they want to expose their best friends to it. In the case of blonde cutie Lindsey, we have 4th year vet Lisa to thank. 2010 tryouts wasn't the first time we met her either as she's been in attendance for some of the Jills events over the past few years since Lisa joined the squad so she saw first hand some of the fun Lisa has been having. Lindsey spent the season dancing on Omarlla's line next to Omarlla and Valerie and is looking for an even better year in 2011 after cheering through an injury most of the season. Cute and tough! Unlike a lot of rookies and even a number of vets, Lindsey's college days are behind her and she's an established professional using her degree in business and accounting although she'd love to become a personal trainer one day. For now though, she's loving the freedom of being done with her education and spends much of her spare time travelling and being involved with charities. This involvement is completely separate from what she does with the Jills too, so her becoming a Buffalo Jill was only a matter of time considering her interests as well as her best friend. Lindsey's secondary photo comes from the Bills' opener against the Fish. Shown smiling for the camera as their line changes sections at the end of the 1st quarter are Lindsey and Kelly.

As seen in her tryout video from last season, Lindsey brings more than a pretty face and a lovable personality to the squad. She's also quite the dancer as well!

Buffalo Pro Cheer Photos of The Week

While we wait for September to arrive with the start to the new season for the Jill of The Week series, with a change or two coming with that, we'll spend the next few months taking a look at the 2010-2011 Buffalo Jills squad and get to know the girls who we'll see on the sidelines at the Ralph as well as at the 97Rock and 103.3 The Edge tailgate parties before each home game.

First up is a trio of 2nd year vets. This photo was taken at the Jills Open Workshop at the Convention Center of Niagara Falls. Gabrielle spent last season dancing on Christina's line while Kristen and Nicole were on the ambassador squad. This year though, they'll all be dancing as Kristen and Nicole switched over to dance. We already know what a great dancer the beautiful Gabrielle is and judging from how well they've done so far, our two former ambassadors will do great as well.

The 2nd photo features 4th year vet Lisa with Billy Buffalo as well as one of her closest friends. Lisa and Lindsey were friends long before Lindsey became one of the newest dancers on the squad. Lisa was the 2007 dance rookie of the year...could Lindsey garner the award for 2010? It's way too early to speculate on an award like that, especially with all the other talented and beautiful dance rookies this year but Lindsey is definitely a great addition to the squad already.
The next time to meet the entire Jills squad will be at the 8th Annual Buffalo Jills Golf Tournament. This year's event takes place on August 2nd at Westwood Country Club in Williamsville, NY. Go to http://buffalojills.net/Article.asp?id=1834972&spid=34534 for details.

From the Bandettes, we have a photo from before the season finale featuring the Buffalo Bandits and the Boston Blazers. The Bandits came through with a 13-10 win in a game they needed to win to get into the playoffs. Before the game, the Bandettes handed out team posters to the fans coming through the gates. Shown smiling for the camera are Kirsten, Lauren S, Amanda, and Jessica. Kirsten and Lauren just finished their 2nd seasons on the squad while Amanda and Jessica were in their 3rd.
