It's time to put in the votes again as 2nd year Bandette Kelsey. A few weeks back, she won her opening round matchup against Jorina of the Philadelphia Angels by almost 3000 votes. This week, she's facing off against Chantelle of the Edmonton Crush in the semi-finals and she needs your help to advance to the finals. Bandette of The Week Kelsey

This week, we take a look at 2nd year vet Kelsey as our Buffalo Bandette of The Week. Dancing on LB's line on gamedays, Kelsey was the chosen representative in the annual NLL Girl of The Week contest held on ILIndoor.com. She took the first round by almost 3000 votes and is now waiting for her next match-up hoping to bring the NLL Girl of The Year crown back to Buffalo. Kelsey is, in the history of the Bandettes, the 1st to follow in her sister's footsteps and I mean that literally. Her sister Danielle spent 2 seasons on the squad in 2011 and 2012 and even danced during games in the same spot. Hopefully though, after Kelsey wins this year's NLL Girl of The Year crown, she'll be around for more than the 2 seasons. A future daycare center owner, she admits to being rather gullible, a trait that I'm sure her big sister took advantage of from time to time when they were growing up. It's not that Danielle just wants to torment her little sister, but all siblings do that on occasion. Danielle is, along with their mother, Kelsey's biggest supporter in this year's NLL Girl of The Year contest. Congrats to Kelsey O!

Kelsey won her 1st round matchup in the NLL Girl of The Week series against the representative from Philly with a final tally of 9929 to 6950! Thanks to all those who voted but it's not done yet. In a few weeks, she'll be facing off against a dancer from another squad and we'll need the voters to step up again. For now though, we can celebrate her 1st round win!

It's NLL Girl of The Week time and in the 2nd matchup of the season, IL Indoor has Jorina of the Philadelphia Angels matched up against our own Kelsey of the Buffalo Bandettes!! 2 years ago, Stephanie took the year-end title but Buffalo lost out on the title last year. Kelsey, whose older sister Danielle preceded her on the squad, is the Buffalo representative who we're hoping brings home the championship this year. First though, she needs some votes to win the opening round. Voting goes through next Tuesday and you can vote as often as you like and obviously we're hoping to get plenty of help getting Kelsey moved onto the next round. Bandette of The Week Kelsey

This week, we take a look at rookie dancer Kelsey as our Buffalo Bandette of The Week. Dancing on LB's line on gamedays, Kelsey is currently in school with hopes of opening up her own daycare center one day. In the world of pro cheerleading/dancing, it's not unheard of for sisters to end up joining the same squad but it is rather rare. The Jills had 2 pairs of twins join in consecutive years and the closest the Bandettes have come was in 5-year alum Meghan F, whose older sister spent the 2002 season on the Jills. Now we have a young lady following in her sister's footsteps, literally. Her older sister Danielle, on the squad the last 2 seasons, danced in the same spot in her rookie season that Kelsey's dancing in now. They actually share a lot...favorite book, place they want to travel to, career goals in teaching. One thing we can hope will be different is career length. Danielle only put in two seasons before she got married and moved away from Western NY. Kelsey seems to be loving not only being on the Bandettes but getting her photo taken. When the Bandettes debuted their "gangsta" gear, it was Kelsey who asked for a group pic of the squad.
