The NLL's schedule-makers didn't do the Bandits any favors with 4 sets of back-to-back games, 4 bye weeks, and in the 3 matchups with Rochester and Toronto, only play host to their rivals once each.
That being said, the important thing is that we now know when we'll get to see the 2015 Buffalo Bandettes in action.
Speaking of the 2015 Bandettes, that squad has yet to be selected but their tryout dates were announced a few weeks ago with an optional workshop on Tuesday, September 16th and the tryouts themselves on October 4th and 5th. NLL Schedule Released!

They released the schedule just a bit earlier this year but when you consider the NLL schedule kicks off a week sooner than in years past, with games starting December 28th, the final weekend of the NFL regular season. The earlier start is due to a longer season. Gone is the 16-game schedule and in its place will be 18 games, 9 home and 9 away. What that means is 9 games in which we'll see the premier dance team in the NLL, the Buffalo Bandettes, performing at the First Niagara Center.
Of course before that, they still have to pick a team and that's coming up quick!

This year try-outs will be held on September 14th & 15th from 12:00pm-4:00pm; 
Both Days
Location: Catalyst Fitness 1402 French Road, Depew, NY 14043
Cost: $25
Ages: 18 and up
Requirements: Must be 18 years of age by Sept. 15, 2013. Must have graduated high school or have an equivalent degree to that of a high school diploma
What to expect:
First Day- Learning a routine. You may wear what you are most comfortable in while learning and practicing. Please bring a photograph of yourself along with the participation release. Registration will be from 12:00pm-12:30pm this day.
Second Day- Performance and interview in front of a panel of judges. What to wear- half top (dance wear or sports bra), tights, shorts, and sneakers (dance shoes). Full hair and make-up on this day. Make-up should be "stage make-up" and hair should be worn down with a natural look. Body piercings should be taken out and tattoos should be covered. One rhinestone stud in the ears are encouraged.

NFL Schedule released

With the NFL and Bills schedule now released, we now know when the 2013 Buffalo Jills will be performing at Ralph Wilson Stadium and, sadly, at the Rogers Centre, as the Toronto deal was extended.
Leading the Jills dancers will be Christina, Lisa, and Emily with Lindsey C, Melissa, and Jenny as their co-captains. Regarding the Ambassador Squad, I'm not sure who the captains will be. 2012 only had 3 vets on the Ambassador Squad and Laura and Alyssa B are both confirmed to have retired.

NFL Schedule released!

Obviously everything is still on hold to an extent as the NFL Lockout is still going on but with the plan that it will be lifted in time, the NFL released the 2011-2012 schedule moments ago.

With the Bills' 1st preseason game on August 13th, expect training camp at St John Fisher college to open July 29th if the lockout is lifted in time.

NFL Schedule Released and a few more Jills tidbits

We've known the opponents the Bills would face for months and tonight, the dates were finally revealed. Now everyone can start circling dates on their calendars as far as when to come to Buffalo to see the 2010 Buffalo Jills in action! This year however, 1 preseason as well as 1 regular season game will be played in Toronto's Rogers Centre. Hopefully the Bills and Toronto can do a better job with things than they did last year. Also, the lone home preseason date will be the annual Kid's Day game with the Jr Jills joining the Buffalo Jills in pregame as well as a big party near the stadium for the kids complete with appearances by the Buffalo Jills Ambassadors.

Besides those dates, don't forget that the Jills will be on hand at the Fieldhouse for the NFL draft this week for the Buffalo Bills Season Ticket Holder Draft Parties on Friday and Saturday as well as Thursday for Premium Seat Holders.

Also, there's a benefit for the Food Bank of Western NY happening on Saturday, April 24th called Choppers For Charity and Hogs Against Hunger. It's a bike/car run from Native Pride Travel Plaza in Irving to Club Paradise in Blasdell. Registration begins at 11 and the police-escorted run starts at 1 with a benefit party held at Club Paradise from 2-7 complete with members of the Buffalo Jills helping out. Finally, the Buffalo Jills Calendar Shoot will be done primarily in Jamaica and, like last year, the public is invited to come along. NLL Schedule is out!

Sorry I wasn't able to get this out earlier but with all the work with the Bills game and Jills photos to get to, I've just been overloaded for a change. Yesterday, the NLL released the 2010 schedule for the Buffalo Bandits and the rest of the league. There are a few significant changes to the league since last season as the Portland Lumberjax, who fell to the Bandits in the 2008 Championship, ceased operations and a pair of teams moved. The New York Titans, who lost the 2009 Championship, have moved to Orlando and the San Jose Stealth is now the Washington Stealth with a move to Everett, Washington, which will help fill the void left by the end of the Portland team. The 11-team league now has a rather unbalanced schedule but the schedule-makers came up with a schedule that should work.

Now everyone can start setting aside 8 Saturday nights to spend at HSBC Arena to watch the 2010 Bandettes cheer on the Buffalo Bandits lacrosse team.

The actual tryout dates, typically in mid-to-late October, for the 2010 Bandettes have yet to be announced but there is a dance clinic coming up on September 13th for not only young ladies looking to try out this year, but for any young ladies 16 and up who might be interested in trying out in the future. First of all, 97Rock just released some new photos from the 1st round of tryouts today including pics of some promising rookies as well as many of our beloved vets. There's also the first photo of the completed squad, which was taken at Tuesday night's first practice.

Season tickets are still on sale for Bills home dates, the only way to ensure you can see the Jills cheering on the Bills in Orchard Park. Individual tickets go on sale in mid-July.
As part of the Bills In Toronto series, the Bills lone game in Toronto's Rogers Centre will take place at 8:20pm on December 3rd, a Thursday night game against the NY Jets. While it's obviously not a real home date and last year's matchup against the Dolphins seemed more like a neutral site matchup than anything, it is officially a "home game" and the Bills and Jills will be treated as the home group by the NFL and we can expect to see the Jills both in pregame appearances and during the game itself. Individual tickets go on sale on April 21st for this game.
Preseason dates were also released recently and there are 3 chances to see the Jills cheer on the Bills in preseason this year. In addition to the 2 home games, the Jills will be traveling to Canton, Ohio Hall of Fame weekend to cheer on the Bills against the Titans, who'll have their own cheerleaders there as well. There are only two times each year where you can see two squads at once, the Hall of Fame game and the Super Bowl. Tickets for the Hall of Fame game are now on sale but are selling fast.
