Buffalo Jill of The Week Rita

This week, we take a look at 2nd year vet Rita as our Buffalo Jill of The Week. Dancing on Omarlla's line on gamedays between Jami and Gina, Rita's career with the Jills wasn't your most typical. Her rookie season was in 2008 and, after taking 3 years off, she came back in 2012 in the best shape of her life. During those three years away, she worked extra hard on physical fitness, not only in herself but in others. Working as a personal trainer, fitness is a huge deal for her. Her longtime boyfriend is a devoted weightlifter and has even worked for the Bills in their strength and conditioning. But there's a lot more to Rita than her fitness or even what she reveals in her Jills bio. Besides her dedication and motivation, she's also incredibly zany and spontaneous. She wasn't even sure about whether or not she wanted to return for 2012 or not until a few days before the workshop. She thought about it for weeks beforehand and realized she missed it too much not to return for another season. She didn't make a big deal about it to her boyfriend or family before trying out just in case she didn't make it so I was actually her biggest supporter at tryouts. As far as the zany, if there's something weird and strange to try, odds are she'll give it a look if she hasn't already. Her little sister probably still has nightmares about all the pranks Rita used to torment her with when they were kids. Buffalo Jill of The Week Rita

This week, we take a look at one of the quieter members of the Buffalo Jills as our Jill of The Week. Rita spent her rookie season dancing on Omarlla's line next to Stephanie Bu and her time on the Jills is great preparation for her future career. She's pursuing a degree in Exercise and Sports Studies with a minor in nutrition. The Nutrition and Exercise parts are aspects she's had to show a mastery of just to become a Buffalo Jill. Being physically fit is something required of all professional cheerleaders and that can only be achieved through exercise and eating the right foods. Getting her degree is a pretty big deal to her and being a Jill has helped her focus on maintaining a healthy lifestyle, which can only help her with a degree in that respect. Jills at Bills Season Tickets For Life

On Monday, December 8th, Larry Norton and Rob Lederman of 97Rock invaded Recckio's as part of a contest in which 97 lucky contestants got a chance to win Bills season tickets for life. The play of the Bills lately hasn't exactly been the greatest enticement for getting those tix so Larry and Rob brought along 3 major reasons to go to Bills games. 9th year vet Omarlla, calendar covergirl Vincenza, and rookie beauty Rita were on hand for the event that ended up awarding a pair of 2009 season tickets to two separate contestants. Buffalo Jills Photos of The Week

This week, we have a couple different sources for pictures. The first pic comes from this year's Jills Congratulatory Party held at Club Paradise the night of the NFL Draft. It features the formerly shy Vincenza, a 2nd year member of the Ambassador Squad with rookie Rita, who showed off her dance moves at the Open Workshop this year. Our second pic comes from last year's Buffalo Jills Golf Tournament and features Ambassador Squad members Danielle, Katherine, Laura, and Amanda F getting set to head out on the course with their golf parties. Danielle, Katherine, and Amanda were each bid on by golfers to join their groups for the day. So in addition to seeing the Jills at lunch and dinner as well as at various holes around the course, 3 lucky foursomes each had a member of the Buffalo Jills accompanying them all 18 holes as well. This year's Golf Tournament will also be held at Fox Valley Country Club in Lancaster, NY and takes place on July 21st so don't hesitate to make sure you have the day off for this event!

In addition to the Golf Tournament, we'll see numerous rookie Jills at the Taste of Buffalo on July 11 and 12th in Niagara Square in downtown Buffalo. Just look for the Bills booth as well as booths for 97Rock and 103.3 The Edge to meet some of these beautiful young rookie Jills.
