Buffalo Pro Cheer Photos of The Week

Jenna, Jaclyn, and Amanda F at Bandits-Wings game 2006
This week, we take a look at a BvB player who not only spent time with the Buffalo Jills, but with the Buffalo Bandettes as well. Amanda F joined the Jills in 2001 and spent 3 seasons on the sidelines at Ralph Wilson Stadium before taking a few years off and then joining the Bandettes along with one of her Jills squadmates, Marissa D to spend 2006-07 dancing at HSBC Arena. She wasn't done by any means nor should she have been seeing as how she's been dancing since the age of 5. In 2010, she answered the call to be one of several Buffalo Jills alumni joining the Jills and the Bandettes in Toronto for the huge halftime performance with the rock group Hinder. She followed that up the following spring back at HSBC Arena with several other Buffalo Bandettes alumni for a combined performance with the Bandettes as well as their own performance. This will be Amanda's 3rd year with Blondes Vs Brunettes and we'll hopefully see her back playing this year as she had to sit out last year's contest with an injury. Away from the public spotlight, she's a Histology Technician with a nursing degree and is working on her Master's in nursing. It's said that the health care industry is a strong one in Buffalo and there's nowhere that's more in evidence when you see beautiful intelligent women like Amanda there along with other Jills alumni like Jill R (2007-08), Ayeshia (2007-09), Rebecca, (2011), as well as Bandette Noelle. You can donate to the BvB through Amanda at  http://act.alz.org/site/TR/BvB/NY-WesternNewYork?px=6266654&pg=personal&fr_id=2194

From the Bandettes comes a photo from the Bandits-Wings game back in January. Each line took up spots in opposing wings of the 100 level as fans came up the escalators for the game to greet them. Posing for a photo near the west bank of escalators are Noelle, Kirsten, and Chelsea.

Buffalo Jill of The Week Amanda F

This week, we take a look at 5th year vet Amanda F as our Jill of The Week. Unfortunately, 5 years was enough for this Jills Ambassador as 2011 was her final year on the squad. Always one to look out for the best interests of the squad as a whole, Amanda is one of those girls with whom you'll always know where you stand. Thankfully, I've always been on her good side and when you consider the fact she's talking about doing a little boxing now that she's retired, that can be a very safe place to be! LOL. But getting back to her time on the Jills, she spent the 2010 season as the co-captain of the Ambassador Squad and did an outstanding job in the role. Amanda has been the definition of class in how she deals with fans...of any age. She's great with children and can converse as easily with a child as she can someone her own age. More often than not, when it comes to children, she's even more excited to talk to them than they are to her! You can read more about Amanda at http://buffalojills.com/profile.php?PID=4 Amanda's secondary photo is from the 9th Annual Buffalo Jills Golf Tournament held at Westwood Country Club back in August. Shown posing for a photo while the golfers were returning to the clubhouse are Reena, Jami, Amanda F, and Nicole.

Buffalo Pro Cheer Photos of The Week

This week's Jills Photo of The Week comes from the Uniform Unveiling held last month at the stadium and features 4 of the girls on their way out for their second performance of the event. Shown smiling for the camera are Melissa, Myesha, and Christina with Amanda V getting in the shot behind them. Obviously everyone is familiar with Christina, now in her 6th season on the squad and her 2nd full season as a captain. I still remember her rookie season and how she's grown so much since then but even back then, everyone in Jills management expected big things from her and she's definitely delivered. Amanda V is in her 2nd season on the squad and is known outside the Jills as well as to us after having spent time traveling the country as a dance and cheer instructor. Melissa is a rookie with the Jills but if she's actually unknown to anyone reading this blog, then you must be new. I've actually known Melissa longer than even Christina as she spent 6 1/2 seasons with the Bandettes including the last several as a co-captain and a captain. Myesha is another of the rookies on the dance squad and other than the obvious, how stunning she is, I really don't know anything else to say about her so far but I'm sure that will change over the next few months.

Our Bandettes Photo of The Week comes from the April game against Rochester. Shown smiling for the camera at the pregame autograph session are close friends Noelle and Lauren S. Both of these ladies are in the nursing field with rookie Noelle working as a registered nurse. Lauren, a certified nurse's assistant, finished up her 3rd season as a Bandette as an acting captain through the final 2 games of the season and through the playoffs.

Our featured BvB player is 2nd year Blonde team member Amanda F, a co-captain for her team this year. She's shown posing after last year's game with some of the girls she's been coaching in cheering who came out to support her. Amanda is one of the most active Jills and Bandettes alumni the last few years. After spending the 2001-03 seasons as a Jill, she spent 2006-07 as a Bandette. Then, after joining up with BvB last year with some former squadmates, she was one of the alumni who joined the Jills and Bandettes in Toronto for the big halftime performance with the rock group Hinder. She wasn't finished however as she joined several other Bandettes alumni and the 2011 Bandettes dancing at the Bandits-Blazers game April 16. She's also planning on joining about 50 other Jills alumni for a special pregame performance with the Buffalo Jills on October 9th.
You can show your support for Amanda at http://bvbbuffalo2011.kintera.org/faf/donorReg/donorPledge.asp?ievent=475491&supid=297189338 or any of the other participants in this year's Blondes Vs Brunettes game at http://bvbbuffalo2011.kintera.org/faf/home/default.asp?ievent=475491&lis=1&kntae475491=3671D30C11474EBCAB83D8B51C6B7360

Buffalo Jill of The Week Amanda F

This week, we take a look at 4th year vet Amanda F as our Buffalo Jill of The Week. Blonde bombshell Amanda is coming off her 1st full season as the Ambassador Squad co-captain. I say full season because she actually did a lot to help out Keisha in 2009 as she received an unexpected promotion to captain in her 1st season as co-captain. I've watched Amanda's contributions to the squad a lot over the course of her career as a Jill and she does an outstanding job in her role. The hospitality management degree she has that helps her in her job has come in handy in her role with the Jills and taking charge in some situations is something she's not only good at, but a natural at. She's also pretty good at being there for her squadmates if they need help in handling situations. One example of this was an appearance that Vincenza had to handle on her own when a pair of squadmates were both sick with the flu. The girls generally don't do appearances solo and with Ambassador squad captain Keisha out of town, Amanda was just a phone call away for Vincenza and helped her out with letting her know how to handle things.
Beyond her role as a captain, Amanda is the definition of class in how she handles herself with fans...of all ages. She's an attentive and gifted conversationalist and when talking with children, sometimes she's even more excited to talk to the children than they are with her...and that's not just the shy ones. Amanda's secondary photo is from the Saturday Draft Party that the Bills held last April. Shown posing for the camera are Amanda, Ruby, and Natalie.

Buffalo Jill of The Week Amanda

This week, we take a look at now-4th-year vet Ambassador Amanda as our Jill of The Week. 2010 will not only be Amanda's 4th year on the squad, but her 1st as a co-captain, although she was already doing a lot to help out Keisha last year. Amanda's known by the fans for her classic beauty, drawing reminders of Greta Garbo and Marilyn Monroe but to those of us who know her, she's a lot more than that. For one thing, she's an outstanding leader and has been showing that in some measure since her rookie year, even. That's no big surprise considering all her past experience in management roles on her regular jobs as well as her management degree. Her attention to detail and a mind full of ideas for improvements are just a few of the attributes she brings to the co-captain's role. She’s also known for how well she treats people as she's an attentive listener and when she's talking with children, she gets just as excited as they do when they get to talk to her. Interaction like that is going to make her a great mother one day after she leaves the squad, which we hope is a long time from now, obviously. She almost didn't have the opportunity to help out and become a co-captain. After 2 years on the Ambassador squad, she tried out for the dance squad, dancing alongside former calendar covergirl Jenica. Dancing since the age of 4, it's no surprise that she did make the final cut for dance, along with 3 other former Ambassadors, but after a few months switched back to Ambassador due to work commitments. You can read more about Amanda in the webgroup's files section this week where you'll find a copy of her 2008 Jills bio.

Jills Awards

With Jills tryouts coming up, we shouldn't forget about the accomplishments of the 2009 squad. The Jills just had their end of season banquet and, as is custom, handed out numerous awards.

Captain of the year: Omarlla
Outstanding Ambassador Jill: Keisha
Rookie of the year: Kelly (dance) & Alyssa (Ambassador)
Veteran of the year: Lisa
Miss Congeniality: Stefanie & Courteney
Highest Calendar sales: Laura w/ a close 2nd by Katy
Perfect attendance: Katie K., Jennifer & Kelly
Most Appearances: Alyssa & Keisha
Jr Jills Captain: Jennifer (and you probably thought I was making all that up in her Jill Of The Week feature, didn't you?)

The last couple of years, they've also named their captains and co-captains at this time. Well, captains have been named but the ambassador squad was the only one with a co-captain named. Dance co-captains will be named after practices get going for the 2010 squad. This is pretty similar to how they did it prior to the 2008 squad. Without further ado though, the captains for the 2010 Buffalo Jills will be Omarlla, Eileen, Christina, and Keisha. Obviously Omarlla and Eileen need no introduction to anyone as they've both been with the squad since 2000, going into their 11th season as Jills. Christina making captain is no surprise as she was named co-captain her 3rd season in 2008 and finished this past season in Miami representing the squad in the Pro Bowl.  There's also the fact that she, like Keisha with the Ambassador Squad, was an acting captain most of the season with the departures of Nicole and Danielle. Keisha, winning the Outstanding Ambassador award and always going the extra distance for her squadmates, was an easy choice for Ambassador Squad captain as well. Joining Keisha in heading up the Ambassador Squad will be 4th year vet Amanda. Detail-oriented, experience in management, and a plethora of ideas to bring to the squad are just some of the reasons why this blonde bombshell was a great choice for the role.

This Saturday, make sure to congratulate all the award winners and captains at the Buffalo Jills Adult Comedy Show. It takes place at Club Paradise in Blasdell with the doors opening at 7pm. Tickets are $20 in advance and $25 at the door. Also, some of them will be at Eastern Hills Mall Saturday late morning for the Kaleida Health Women's -Day of Dance event from 11-noon.

After all that, you have one final chance to see many of the 2009 Jills before tryouts get going...at the 2010 Buffalo Men's Show. Anyone who was there in 2008 knows what a fun event it was. This year's event promises to be bigger, taking place at Seneca Niagara Casino and Hotel. Among the celebrities in attendance, we'll have former Bills greats Andre Reed, Thurman Thomas, Ted Washington, and Ruben Brown as well as current greats Paul Posluzsny and Fred Jackson as well as Mark Steenhuis from the Bandits. Add former Sabre Mike Peca and Dudley Hart from the PGA to the mix, and the 2008 Men's Show should pale in comparison. See the whole list at http://www.97rock.com/Article.asp?id=1706180&spid=21992

The Jills at the Buffalo Auto Show

Buffalo is a city well-known for its tailgating prowess, annually ranked in the top 3 in the NFL with Green Bay and Kansas City. Besides their devotion to tailgating, the foods that are served at Buffalo tailgate parties are spoken of around the league. In honor of this, the Buffalo Auto Show, with the aid of radio station 103.3 The Edge, hosted a contest in which 5 contestants put their recipes up for judging. The winner got a large group of prizes including Bills tickets, a new grill, an autographed football, and many more. No contest like this works without judges and Amanda and Kaitlin of the Buffalo Jills put aside Valentine's Day afternoons with their boyfriends to help judge the contest along with a pair of NYS's finest.

http://s15.photobucket.com/albums/a375/buffalojills2005/2009/Auto%20Show/

Coming up next, the Jills have a pair of events scheduled for February 27th as a number of them will be at Eastern Hills Mall from 11-noon for Kaleida Health's Day of Dance event. They'll be there to perform, sign autographs, pose for photos, and hand out info on becoming a Jill or a Jr Jill.

That evening, Club Paradise in Blasdell is the place to be as the Jills hold their annual adult comedy show. Tickets are $20 in advance through the Jills or $25 at the door with doors opening at 7pm with raffles, food, and drink available.

The Jills at the Jets Away Game festivities

The Bills ended their 3-game losing skid on Sunday with a 16-13 OT win in the Meadowlands against the NY Jets and as much as fans across Western NY were complaining they were giving up on the season or even the team, you couldn't tell it from the attendance at the Edge Away Game Party at the Aud Sports Bar and Grill in Depew as the venue was standing room-only by the time the Bills kicked off to the Jets.
Once again, 103.3 The Edge is putting on Away Game parties for all the Bills road games and this year, the Aud Sports Bar is the place with 40-cent wings, Bud and Labatt specials, a halftime buffet, and James giving away prizes all game long. Also, like last year's parties, when the Bills score, you can put in an entry to win a TV...but they upgraded. Last year was a 42-inch flat screen while this year's screen comes in at 47 inches. The best part of the event is the company, though. Besides plenty of devoted Bills fans, a pair of Jills is there for a part of every game and this week, 3rd year vet Vincenza was joined by rookie Ambassador Alyssa as they watched the game with the fans, posed for pictures, signed autographs, and sold a few calendars as well.

But maybe you'd like a more laid-back atmosphere to watch the game but still want some beautiful women around. Sole Restaurant in the Walker Center in Williamsville featured 3rd year vet Amanda behind the bar for the game and looking every bit as stunning behind the bar as she looks in uniform at the games.
http://s15.photobucket.com/albums/a375/buffalojills2005/2009/Jets-Road/
Next week, the Bills are on the road in Carolina so if you didn't make it out to the Aud or Sole this week, here's another chance right away with a 4:05 kickoff against the Panthers.
There's plenty more coming up as well before the Jills next take the field when the Bills play host to the Houston Texans on November 1st.
On October 26th, they'll be appearing at a Celebrity Wine-Tasting event for Brian Moorman's PUNT Foundation at Asbury Hall in Buffalo. Get all the details at http://www.brianmoorman.org/wine_pairing09.php
On October 31st, you can meet some of the Jills as you bring the kids to Safe & Seen Halloween at ECC's North Campus in Williamsville. Get all the details at http://www.safeandseenhalloween.com

Bike Wash for Mercy Flight

Mercy Flight WNY is an independent, not-for-profit provider of emergency air medical transport. With 5 helicopters based in WNY, they've flown more than 17,000 patient missions since their inception 28 years ago. Independent of any one hospital, they deliver patients to the facility that best suits the patient's needs as far as hospital capabilities and location. Being an independent not-for-profit organization, their funding comes primarily from donations raised through charity fundraisers. This weekend, Buck's Motorsports of Akron, NY has a big promotion going on with their motorcycles and used that opportunity to stage a fundraiser for Mercy Flight. Buck's donated a new bike to be raffled off and members of the Buffalo Jills were on hand for a bike wash on Saturday, washing customers' motorcycles for a donation to Mercy Flight. With sunny weather in the 60s, it was a bit chilly for bikinis, but Amanda, Courteney, Katy, Jess, Alyssa, and Nicole L looked incredibly hot in their tops and Daisy Dukes as they washed bikes and posed for pictures with the bikes and, in most cases, the bike owners. When things died down, Jess and Nicole L took a tour of Buck's Motorsports to check out the bikes on sale and pose for a few pictures.
Coming up next for the Jills, the squad will be busy the weekend of the 13th and 14th as members of the squad will be on hand most of the weekend at the 29th Annual Strawberry Festival at Merritt Estate Winery in Forestville. This event will be a fundraiser for Ruben's Run, part of the charitable foundation set up by former Bills All-Pro Ruben Brown complete with auctions, photo ops, and lots of wine tasting. http://buffalojills.net/appearances/details.php?recordID=25
The evening of the 13th, some of the Jills will be on hand taking photos and signing autographs at Buffalo's Biggest 80s Bash to be held at the Buffalo Convention Center. The girls on hand won't be stopping with that, though as they'll have a hot 80s style dance performance to put on for the event, an event that benefits the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. http://www.80sbash.com/
After that, don't forget the Taste of Buffalo the weekend of July 11th and 12th. One of the Nation's Largest Food Festivals features appearances by members of the Buffalo Jills both afternoons of the event. http://www.tasteofbuffalo.com/
Last but far from least, the 7th Annual Buffalo Jills Golf Tournament takes place on July 20th at Fox Valley Country Club in Lancaster, NY. $125 buys you a round of 18 holes, lunch, dinner, use of golf carts by your group, and entertainment by the Buffalo Jills in the form of some hot dance routines at dinner. There are also raffles and games available as well as the chance to bid on having one of the beautiful Jills accompany your group around the course for the day. For details on ordering your tickets, go to http://buffalojills.net/appearances/details.php?recordID=9

Buffalo Jill of The Week Amanda F

This week, we take a look at a popular 2nd year vet from the Jills Ambassador Squad in blonde bombshell Amanda F. If we were to use one word to describe Amanda, it would have to be the word "classy." That word can be taken a couple different ways when describing Amanda. First, there's the obvious that anyone can see. Her beauty reminds one of classic screen sirens from the mid-20th century like Rita Hayworth, Audrey Hepburn, and Lana Turner. Prior to last year's first preseason game, a few guys even proclaimed September as their favorite month after seeing Amanda grace that month in last year's calendar. Obviously, they must be rather excited about November getting here this year. But beyond her looks, she also carries herself in a classy manner. She has an obvious air of sophistication about her but is anything but snooty or stuck up. She has a big heart and is fiercely loyal to her friends. Squadmate Laura even had this to say about her. "Amanda is one of those rare people that has the ability to do anything she puts her mind to. Whatever job interview, project, assignment, she chooses or is given...you'll know it'll be done with class and be the best. She's loyal, beautiful, smart. She's got it all and then some." You can read more about Amanda at http://buffalojills.net/bios/AmandaF.html

97 Rock-a-thon pics

As a part of a telethon to raise funds for the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Western NY, 97Rock's morning radio guru, Larry Norton, stayed on the air from 6am Thursday until 10am Friday. The telethon raised over $255,600 for the foundation pushing the station's 14-year total to $2.175M.
Working with this telethon were not only Jickster, the #2 Jills fan in existence, but 3 of the beautiful members of the Buffalo Jills Ambassador Squad. The following is a link to some pics of the telethon, including some pics of Amanda F, Tiffany, and Laura.

Buffalo Jills and Bandettes Photos of The Week

Once again we take a look at a photo from the Jills Congratulatory Party as our first photo. This one was taken after 97Rock's DJ Jickster brought all the rookies out in front of the stage and had a few of the rookies answer some Bills trivia questions. Here we see Lonna, Lynn, and Murissa waiting for a question while Alison, seen twirling her hair in an effort to fluster poor Jickster, is about to answer the question posed to her. Not seen in this photo are the other 2 rookies were were chosen for this trivia questiona-and-answer session, Stephanie Br and Kristin B.

Our second pic is, once again, from last year's Jills Golf Tournament (this year's is coming up on the 21st!). This pic was taken after the actual tournament while the golfers were returning to the clubhouse for dinner, entertainment, and the raffle. Seen here is the director's husband Jon posing with 4 members of the Jills Ambassador Squad. From left to right are Vincenza, Amanda F, Katherine, and Danielle. A word of advice to anyone who'll be golfing at Fox Valley on Monday in the tournament. If your golf party is just ahead of Jon's and they're catching up to you, don't waste your time asking the Jills to distract him to slow him down. As Katie K told a golfer who asked that 2 years ago, "He's immune to us being able to distract him." LOL

This week, our Bandettes photo is actually from a road game. The Buffalo-Rochester rivalry in the NLL is an intense one for a few different reasons. Some players have played for both teams, they face off in the playoffs quite frequently it seems, and obviously the proximity to one another is a big factor as well. Due in part to this proximity, some Knightingales cheerleaders come to Buffalo when the teams face off and likewise, our Buffalo Bandettes have a group going to Rochester quite regularly. In this April's matchup in Rochester, the stands boasted 3 of the Buffalo Bandettes. While the quantity was small, the quality was large as the 3 that went were fan favorite Sarah and co-captains Meghan and Melissa.

Taste of Buffalo 2008

The 25th Annual Taste of Buffalo kicked off Saturday with 56 restaurants participating this year and the day was hot in more ways than one. The 88 degree temperature and all the fantastic foods were just the tip of the proverbial iceberg. It was also a great place to see a number of local musical acts, all of which are new to the Taste this year and see friends you haven't seen in months. But the hottest part of all was getting to see plenty of beautiful women, the hottest of which could be seen right in front of City Hall and the 97Rock booth. I'm talking, of course, about the First Ladies of Buffalo, the Buffalo Jills. The Jills were on hand handing out Bills schedules and posing for pictures with fans from noon to 4 and rookies and vet alike seemed to pick up a lot of new fans.

Here's a few pictures from the day that feature Jills rookies Liz, Kristin M, and Shana (who put in 4 hours under the sun) as well as popular veteran Amanda F in a few scenes from the day.

If you missed Day 1 of the Taste, don't fret. Just make sure you make it to Day 2 and sample some of the great Buffalo foods, listen to some local bands, and of course, meet some of our beautiful Buffalo Jills.
Also, whether or not you make the Taste this weekend, don't forget that the Jills Golf Tournament is coming up on July 21st at Fox Valley Country Club in Lancaster, NY. The $125 fee includes a full round of golf, cart usage, lunch and dinner, the chance to win lots of prizes, entertainment, and of course, the chance to meet all the 2008-09 Buffalo Jills! Just visit http://www.buffalojills.net/contact.html to order your tickets.

Buffalo Jills Photos of The Week

This week, we have a couple different sources for pictures. The first pic comes from this year's Jills Congratulatory Party held at Club Paradise the night of the NFL Draft. It features the formerly shy Vincenza, a 2nd year member of the Ambassador Squad with rookie Rita, who showed off her dance moves at the Open Workshop this year. You can see her in this video for example. http://s15.photobucket.com/albums/a375/buffalojills2005/2008/Open%20Workshop/?action=view&current=70.flv That's her directly behind Lisa in the white pants and red and white striped shirt.

Our second pic comes from last year's Buffalo Jills Golf Tournament and features Ambassador Squad members Danielle, Katherine, Laura, and Amanda F getting set to head out on the course with their golf parties. Danielle, Katherine, and Amanda were each bid on by golfers to join their groups for the day. So in addition to seeing the Jills at lunch and dinner as well as at various holes around the course, 3 lucky foursomes each had a member of the Buffalo Jills accompanying them all 18 holes as well. This year's Golf Tournament will also be held at Fox Valley Country Club in Lancaster, NY and takes place on July 21st so don't hesitate to make sure you have the day off for this event!

In addition to the Golf Tournament, we'll see numerous rookie Jills at the Taste of Buffalo on July 11 and 12th in Niagara Square in downtown Buffalo. Just look for the Bills booth as well as booths for 97Rock and 103.3 The Edge to meet some of these beautiful young rookie Jills.

Buffalo Jills photos of The Week

The Buffalo Jill of The Week feature is going on hiatus until September so until then, we'll be taking a look at some current and past Buffalo Jills at some of their appearances, events, and games from the past. We'll take a look at some past Jills, some current vets, and some of the beautiful and talented rookies who joined up with the Jills just this season.
The first pair of photos are the most recent, coming from the 3rd Annual Niagara Falls Fire Department Motorcycle Run which took finished up at the Hard Rock Cafe down near the American Falls.
The 1st pic features a pair of rookies, Anna and Murissa, in a shot taken right in front of the American Falls. Anna is one of a pair of Canadians on the squad and rather enjoyed being treated like a celebrity while on the recent Jills calendar trip. Murissa lives to dance and cheer and has an incredibly supportive family...many of them came out to see her at this appearance.

The 2nd pic features a trio of vets, Jenica, Amanda F, and Vincenza, posing with 97Rock's Concert Correspondent, DJ Jickster. Jenica is in her 3rd season coming off a season as the Swimsuit calendar covergirl. Amanda and Vincenza are 2nd year members of the Ambassador Squad who've each picked up a strong following among Bills fans with their time on the squad so far.

And yes, those are new uniforms. There've been a few modifications made to the Jills uniforms since last season and we'll see more of the modifications over the coming months.

Buffalo Jill of the Week Amanda F

The name Amanda means loveable and that's a fitting word for our current Jill of The Week, rookie Amanda F. At the Jills Golf Tournament, she was one of the Jills bid on to be a companion for the day and pulled in $50 on just her opening bid. She didn't just travel around with her foursome, however. She was given the task of using the rangefinder to help out her golfers. Then, at the first preseason game, she, Jessica D, Katherine, and Vincenza took a tour to Lot 1 to sell some calendars pregame and a few guys remarked how September was now their favorite month...because of Amanda. Besides quickening pulses, Amanda spends her free time when not cheering or in college classes with her dog Riley. You can read more about this blonde bombshell at http://buffalojills.net/bios/amandaf.html

Bandette of The Week Amanda F

Our featured Bandette this week is blonde bombshell Amanda F. Longtime fans of this beauty will remember she spent 3 years as a Jill before her 2 years, so far, as a Bandette. She's grown a lot since her rookie year with the Jills when she was actually a bit shy. I myself can attest to that as I remember meeting her that rookie season when she and another Jill were out touring the parking lots with swimsuit calendars. Shyness is no longer one of her attributes as she's quite outgoing these days. Read a little more about Amanda at http://www.bandits.com/bandette-07_amandaf.cfm and don't forget her video profile at http://www.bandits.com/multimedia.cfm?id=339&media=video

Also, check the files section of the webgroup (registration required) for a special treat...her 2001 Buffalo Jills bio

Bandette Profiles: Amanda F

Second year Bandette, Amanda F., got involved with dance at the age of five.
And while most of the girl's mothers got them involved in dancing, it was actually her father that pushed her into it. It's no wonder that her most memorable moments dancing were the father-daughter dances.
