Bandette of The Week Ashley

This week, we take a look at 4th year vet Ashley as our Bandette of The Week. Handling promotional duties on gamedays,  a role she led at the start when it began in 2012, Ashley's back after a season away from the squad. Technically, she was only away from the squad on an official basis as, even though she retired following the 2012 season, she was still in attendance for most every game. She's one of the easiest girls to get along with that I know. Even though the stereotype of cheerleaders being stuck up has been dis-proven hundreds of times, Ashley's probably about as far from that stereotype as anyone else could be. She's great at cheering people up and the type of person people just naturally gravitate toward. Besides being a pretty redhead who's easy to get along with, Ashley is a huge Buffalo sports fan and is a regular at Bills games as well as Bandits games. I even ran into her in Cleveland last October for the Bills game there. She even wound up on the Jumbotron at a Bills game once a few years back when she won a seat upgrade! Bandette of The Week Ashley

This week, we take a look at 3rd year vet Ashley as our Bandette of The Week. After 2 seasons dancing and tumbling, Ash is now heading up the new Bandettes Ambassador Squad, a group of 3 girls who are specializing in appearances, especially suite visits during games. She's one of those girls who people naturally gravitate toward with her friendly smile and even friendlier personality. She's good at picking a person's spirits up with either a friendly ear or a laugh. Bandette of The Week Ashley

This week, we take a look at outgoing redhead Ashley as our Bandette of The Week. Dancing on Melissa's line on gamenights, she is one of the girls who brings some excellent tumbling ability to the squad's on-field performances. In high school, her classmates thought she was rather funny and always getting laughs. Last year at this time, they might not have recognized her as she started off a little more quiet and almost shy. But as the season wore on and she became more comfortable with the squad and her role on it, she's back to her more comical self and has been doing her best to help this year's rookies feel more comfortable with the squad

Bandette of The Week Ashley

This week's Bandette of The Week is our 2nd rookie in a row and perhaps the rookie who's thrown herself into being on the squad more than any. She dances on Meghan's line during games and at intermission, when fans see 2 girls out there tumbling, she's the one joining Amanda in that role. This cute redhead was thought by her high school classmates to be a girl who was always getting laughs. While she may have started out a little more quiet, after a few months on the Bandettes getting comfortable with her squadmates, she's still getting laughs every now and then. Considering she hopes to embark on a serious career as a criminologist when she finishes her schooling, that sense of humor will serve her well to keep her balanced. After all, they say all work and no play makes Ashley a dull girl. Ashley never intends to be remotely dull, though.
