Buffalo Jill of The Week Katie C

If you had to sum up our latest Jill of The Week in one word, it would have to be zany. Katie C was an early departure from the Jills last season after dancing on Nicole's line next to Kristina. One of the first things you'll notice when you see her is the fact that she's 5'11". And while Katie may, at times, be uncomfortable about her height, it's not something she dwells on. While her height may be the first thing you notice when seeing her, her zany personality is what you remember after talking to her. When she was waitressing a few years ago, a customer once told her she looked like Cameron Diaz and when you compare the two, the similarities go far beyond their looks and being tall blondes. For one thing, Cameron dances in all of her movies and when it comes to dance, Katie is more confident of her dancing ability than anything else. Going into tryouts, a lot of girls are nervous about learning the routines long before even thinking about the interview, but not Katie. At last year's Open Workshop, she was thinking she'd be nervous about her interview but was extremely confident about her routine...and this was before she learned it! Plus, if you ever watched the Charlie's Angels movies, Cameron's character, Natalie Cook, could have been modeled after Katie as she loves to make people laugh and tries never to take herself seriously. Buffalo Jills Photos of The Week

This week, we take a look at another pair of photos from the Congratulatory Party and from last year's Jills Golf Tournament. From the Congratulatory Party, we have a shot with Nichole, Jennifer, and Stephanie M. Nichole spent the 2000-2005 seasons dancing on the sidelines of Ralph Wilson Stadium and then moved more behind the scenes starting in 2006 when she took on the role of Jills Coordinator. Jennifer is one of promising rookies with the Jills this year and besides being a real go-getter, she loves MTV's Real World. Stephanie spent a few years dancing with the Jills a few years ago and has been the Jills director since 2002, guiding the squad through increased positive exposure with additions like Jills events at different times of the year, the Ambassador Squad, and a roster that keeps growing.

From last year's Jills Golf Tournament, we have a trio of 2nd year vets. Jill D is a former competitive dancer and is one of the most friendly girls around. Katie C is as zany as they come and her fun-loving attitude is obviously not the only thing about her drawing comparisons to Cameron Diaz. Lisa was last year's rookie of the year and that shouldn't come as a surprise to anyone as she's been a cheerleader since the age of 4, 18 years so far.

Buffalo Jill of The Week Katie C

After spending some time with the vets the past few weeks, it's now time to take a look at one of the rookies from this past season's squad. If you made a game and didn't see this dancer on Aimee's line (between Aimee and Katie K), then it's past time to get your eyes checked because this 5' 11" blonde bombshell is hard to miss. Katie C is always smiling because she's a natural dancer getting to do what she loves at a high level and, as of the recent Jills fundraiser, was planning on returning for another season on the squad. Her favorite actress is Cameron Diaz and I suppose that's only fitting. The fact that Cameron is a tall blonde knockout isn't all that I'm referring to, however. Anyone who's seen Cameron as Natalie Cook in the Charlie's Angels movies should know that Katie and Natalie are pretty similar personality-wise...they're both known to get pretty hyper, something that Katie wants to curb.
