Vote for Chelsea as NLL Girl of The Week!

It's that time again as ILLIndoor.com has started up their NLL Girl of The Week competitions. Similar to last year, a girl from opposing squads will be pitted against one another each week with the winner advancing to the next round of the competition. Last year, rookie Bandette and camera ham Stephanie O brought home the title of NLL Girl Of The Year. To start this season's competition, 4th year vet Chelsea, also a noted camera ham, faces off against Jacq of the Calgary Drill Crew. The voting goes through next Tuesday so vote for Chelsea and vote often. Let's keep the title in Buffalo!!

The Bandettes at the Bandits-Rock game

The Bandits game Saturday night was a big one...it was for 1st place in the NLL East against Toronto. I started out the evening at Cobblestone where the pregame party was about to be held. This week, it was LB's line on hand to greet fans and sell raffle tickets, not only for a 50-50 draw, but for tickets to the next home game.

The game itself wasn't one to write home about, unless you're a Toronto fan. Penalities and poor play were the story of the night as the Rock went home with a 14-12 win that could've easily been a lot more of a blowout had the Bandits not clawed their way out of a 7-2 deficit in the 2nd quarter.

Lisa in Hawaii

This year, 6th year vet and 2nd year co-captain Lisa was the one chosen by her squadmates to represent the Buffalo Jills in Hawaii's Pro Bowl last week and Pro Bowl Dan was on-hand all week long grabbing hundreds of shots of Lisa and the representatives of the other 25 NFL Cheerleading squads.

Bandette of The Week Danielle

This week, we take a look at stunning redhead Danielle as our Buffalo Bandette of The Week. In her rookie season, Danielle has been dancing on Kirsten's line and it wasn't that long ago that there were fears that she might not dance again...or at the very least be a long time before she danced. Serious spinal surgery made her hold off dancing but rather than the year that doctors told her it would be, it was actually only a month. She's not all about dancing though as she teaches daycare as well as dance  and hopes to one day open her own bakery. Buffalo Jill of The Week Alyssa U

This week, we take a look at blonde beauty Alyssa U as our Buffalo Jill of The Week. Dancing on Val's line between Melissa and Krystin on gamedays, she's pretty much always wearing a friendly smile. A college graduate shortly after making the Jills, she's been a zumba fitness instructor for several years and is working on utilizing her degree in Business Administration in opening up her own store one of these days. If she really gets her way though, she'll be able to leave the store in good hands and have it bringing in money while she travels the world as a food taste-tester. Of course with all the world-class food you can find in Buffalo, she wouldn't have to travel much if she wants to try different things.
