Buffalo Jill of The Week Katherine

Katherine, or Katie as she's known to her friends, was one of the first rookies to make a splash in a public appearance this past season as she and the other Katie K dropped the puck for a Sabres Alumni Game in Jamestown last year. This country music lover spent the season on the Ambassador Squad and is known as a very determined young lady. It's fitting that she's a Jill of The Week around tryouts because of her determination. A number of current and past Buffalo Jills have made the squad after missing the cut in previous tries and Katie was part of the group in 2006 trying out but was, thankfully for her and for us, persistant and came back in 2007 and nailed a spot on the final roster.
