On a night in which Buffalo Bandits fans set a new NLL Attendance record, the Bandits ended their season on a low note with an overtime loss to the visiting Boston Blazers. The Bandits' one-time lead of 10-5 didn't hold up as Boston proved they were no ordinary expansion team as they stormed back to tie the game up just into the 4th quarter and take the lead soon after. A John Tavares goal late in the game forced overtime but after winning the opening faceoff, the visitors shocked the near-sellout crowd with a quick score to take the regular season finale at HSBC Arena.Prior to the game, we found the Bandettes autographing posters and memorabilia for hundreds of incoming fans before greeting the record-breaking attendee as he came into the game, awarding him with a pair of 2010 Bandits Season tickets. Then it was gametime as the Bandettes put on rousing performances on and off the floor all game long in an effort to help keep the boisterous Buffalo crowd loud and excited up until the Blazers winning goal.
Next up, the Bandits and Bandettes return to HSBC Arena in round 1 of the NLL Playoffs at 7:30 on March 2 when the Boston Blazers come back to town.
