Congratulations to Stephanie O, the NLL Girl Of The Year!
It's been an ongoing contest all season long as rookie camera ham Stephanie O has been the Bandettes' representative in a quest to be crowned the NLL Girl of The Year on ILIndoor.com
She won in the preliminary round by over 18,000 votes.
She won in the quarter finals with 96% of the vote.
She won in the semi-finals with 58% of the vote.
Then she took the championship with 70% of the vote!

The Bandettes at the Bandits-Wings game

Even Buffalo's consistent winning team, the Buffalo Bandits, can have an off night as the team dropped to 2-1 on the season with a 13-10 loss to the visiting Philadelphia Wings. Thankfully, the NLL's premier dance team, the Buffalo Bandettes never has an off night as, with the 2012 debut of 2nd year vet Noelle, put on strong performances all night long including a new routine performed during 3rd intermission.
I started off the evening visiting with Kirsten's line while they greeted fans coming into the game after visiting with Lauren's line the last game.

Coming up next, the Bandettes will be at Buffalo Wild Wings on Niagara Falls Blvd in Tonawanda tonight for a viewing party with the fans when the Bandits are facing off against the Minnesota Swarm. Bandettes will be there at 7:30 with the game to start at 8pm. The Bandits return home with the Bandettes in full support on February 4th as the Washington Stealth, with newly acquired former Bandit Brett Bucktooth ready to face off against his old team.

Finishing up the 2011-12 Buffalo Jill of The Week series, we look at the covergirl of the most recent Buffalo Jills Swimsuit Calendar with now 7th year veteran Christina. Made a captain midway through the 2009 season after getting made a co-captain the year before, Christina is perhaps the most vocal voice of the Buffalo Jills these days. With her communications degree, she's been the one the Bills have gone to the last few years when it came to putting together video features on Jills tryouts and she's also put together end-of-season DVDs for her squadmates filled with videos and photos of their experiences together as Jills that season. This week’s Bandette Photo of The Week comes from the NLL All-Star Game held at First Niagara Center, the first time Buffalo’s hosted the game. Prior to the game, the Bandettes were greeting fans and handing out their brand new posters. Shown posing for a photo are Noelle, Kirsten, and Krista.
