Buffalo Pro Cheer Photos of The Week

This week, we take a look back at a Jills alum who got more fame after she left the squad than she did on it. Amanda P spent 3 seasons flashing her incredible smile on the sidelines of Ralph Wilson Stadium in a career that spanned from 2005-2007. She's actually one of those girls who missed the cut, for some unknown reason, her first time trying out in 2004. Thankfully, she didn't let that disappointment dissuade her from trying again. In her 2nd season on the squad, she got a spot in FHM's US edition as part of a Sexiest NFL Cheerleader competition that she narrowly came in 2nd place in, only because none of FHM's photos included that smile of hers. After leaving the squad, she started working on becoming more famous as an actress or model. To do that, in 2010, she joined a Simon Cowell (the manager who sent the Spice Girls to stardom and created American Idol) project called "If I Can Dream." The project was basically a reality show in which 5 aspiring stars lived in a house in Los Angeles and were given training and other help in their chosen careers. She wound up leaving the project citing a lack of freedom as her reason but she also didn't get as much help auditioning for acting jobs as she wanted either.

From the Bandettes comes a photo from last year's Open Practice held at First Niagara Center. The Bandettes put on a performance for the fans during a break in practice and then started greeting fans and posing for photos in the stands and concourses. Shown posing for a photo are Lauren K, Lauren B, Carissa, Ashley, Stephanie G, Chrissy, Amanda, Melissa, and Jessica. Stephanie G and Melissa have already said they won't be back but everyone else...we'll have to see after tryouts happen the weekend of October 6th and 7th.

Laura, Courteney, and Jacki talk about how to approach women and answer a girl's question about what things she should put in her online dating profile.
