Bandette of The Week Stephanie G

This week, we take a look at 3rd year vet Stephanie G as our Bandette of The Week. Dancing on Lauren B's line on gamedays, this is actually going to be Stephanie's final season on the squad as she's moving away for her career this summer with her accounting degree in hand. One of those people who cares a lot about what others think of her, it should make her pretty happy that she'll be missed and her squadmates have already made sure she knows it. This cutie is well-loved by her squadmates for her positivity and genuine caring nature. Always sporting a big smile, I'm sure giving up the squad had to be a tough decision as she loves dancing as much as anything. But with a Master's degree in accounting in hand, she's gotta go where that degree will be a big help with her career. You can read about about Stephanie at http://www.bandits.com/bbio.asp?bandID=StephanieG Stephanie's secondary photo comes from the 1st Annual Dance Fair and Expo held in late March. Shown posing for the camera are Amanda, Noelle, Stephanie G, and Stephanie O.

Some Jills appearances and another contest for Stephanie of the Bandettes!

Everyone knows that the NFL is currently in a lockout but certain activities, such as the NFL Draft, are still going on as usual. For the 3rd year in a row, the Buffalo Bills are holding draft parties for the fans. On Thursday night, premium seat holders are able to visit the Bills Fieldhouse to watch the 1st round unfold with other Bills fans as well as check out other activities as well as meet some of the veteran members of the Buffalo Jills and see them perform. Friday night, regular season ticket holders get their turn and can watch the 2nd rd unfold at the Fieldhouse while touring the locker room and meeting veteran Buffalo Jills who will also be performing during the evening.

Last week, 2nd year veteran Stephanie of the Buffalo Bandettes won NLL.com's Girl of The Week after some strong support from the fans. This week, with the Bandits about to play host to the Boston Blazers, Stephanie is facing off against a member of the Blazers Dance Team, the Sparks, on ILLIndoor.com So far, the support seems to be strongly in Stephanie's favor with 70% of the vote so far...but that's no reason to get complacent. Go to http://www.ilindoor.com/2011/04/25/ilindoor-coms-nll-girl-of-the-week-its-buffalos-stephanie-vs-bostons-meghan/ and cast your votes for Stephanie...vote as often as you want and make sure Stephanie wins this award as well

NLL.COM GIRL OF THE WEEK - STEPHANIE

The final NLL.com Girl of the Week of the 2011 season, Stephanie, is a member of the Bandettes in Buffalo. Stephanie recently weighed in with NLL.com about her cheerleading experience, her thoughts on the Bandits' playoff chances and much more.
NLL.com: Congratulations on winning the NLL.com Girl of the Week voting! Are you currently residing in Buffalo?
Stephanie: I was born in Buffalo (Getzville) and am currently living here. I loved growing up in Buffalo and have made great memories and friendships in this city.

NLL.com: What does your schooling background consist of?
Stephanie: I am currently an accounting major at the University at Buffalo and will be graduating in May. I will also be beginning a master's program at UB for accounting in the Fall.

NLL.com: What does your dancing background consist of and how did you get started?
Stephanie: I started dancing around four years old. I continued dancing and cheerleading throughout middle and high school as well as in college before I tried out for the Bandettes. I have to thank my mom and sister for getting me started in both dance and cheerleading. If it was not for them, I might have never even tried it!

Vote for Stephanie!!

Last month, NLL fans voted 4th year vet Jessica H of the Bandettes the honor of NLL Girl of The Week. Last week, Bandettes captain Justina was in the running for the honor and while we wait for the results of that election, NLL.com has another poll up to elect the next NLL Girl of The Week. This week, 2nd year cutie Stephanie represents the Bandettes in the voting. This little lady, about to graduate with her accounting degree, is pretty much never seen without a smile. Go to www.nll.com and give Stephanie your support! Hopefully we'll have 2 in a row with Justina and Stephanie both winning the honor in consecutive weeks!

Bandette of The Week Stephanie

This week's Bandette of The Week is second-year vet Stephanie. Dancing on Melissa's line this season, this sweet and petite little lady seems to be always sporting a big smile. That could be because she's about to graduate with her accounting degree or it could be the fact that she's getting to continue with the Bandettes a second season because dancing is one of her favorite pastimes. More than likely it's a combination of the two...plus there's also the fact that she's a genuine caring person who admits to being self-conscious about what others think of her. Considering no one can find a bad thing to say about her, she's obviously gotta be happy about that. Stephanie's secondary photo is from the home opener against Toronto. Shown posing for the camera before heading out for their pregame performance are Beth, Justina, Krista, and Stephanie.

Buffalo Pro Cheer Photos of The Week

This week’s 1st Jills photo of The Week comes from Jills 1st cuts and features a mixture of dancers and ambassadors. However, with the exception of the incomparable Murissa, they all spent last season as Jills Ambassadors. From left to right in the back we have 3rd year dancer Murissa, 2nd year ambassador Ruby, 2nd year vet and 1st year dancer Nicole, 2nd year ambassador Alyssa, 2nd year vet and 1st year dancer Kristen, and 2nd year ambassador Courteney. 2nd year ambassador Lindsay and 4th year ambassador Laura pose in the front.

Our second photo comes from the Saturday Bills draft party held for season ticket holders at the Bills Fieldhouse and features a pair of beautiful rookie dancers on the Jills. We already introduced you to Emily, a girl who had a pretty good birthday this year, having spent it at the Jills’ 1st major event of the season, their Open Practice at the Fieldhouse at the start of June. Jen is one of the youngest girls on the squad and wasted little time in trying out for the Jills almost as soon as she turned 18, it seems. Judging by her already stunning good looks and knowing that Buffalo Jills generally get better looking as they age, it’s kinda scary how beautiful she’ll likely get over the course of her Jills career.

From the Bandettes, we have a photo from the Pearl Street Postgame party following the April 10th game against the Toronto Rock. Following the win, several Bandettes celebrated with players and fans alike with dinner and, for those over 21, drinks. Shown seated here are Chelsea, Jessica, Meghan, and Stephanie. Chelsea and Stephanie were rookies this year while Jessica finished up her 3rd season and Meghan her 5th and likely final season.

Buffalo Pro Cheer Photos of The Week

This week's 1st Jills photo comes from 1st cuts and features 3 outstanding Jills dance veterans. From left to right are Murissa, Anna, and Stefanie. Murissa and Anna are both heading into their 3rd seasons on the squad while Stefanie is going into her 5th. Murissa's the type who loves the spotlight and the camera...as evidenced by the fact she strikes a pose more than any other vet on the squad. Anna was an early departure last season but the TV networks leaped for joy when she came back this year as the cameras seemed to love focusing on her. Stefanie contributes not only experience and beauty to the squad but some gymnastic ability as well as she's spent some time over the course of her Jills career doing some of the tumbling in Jills routines and performances.

Our 2nd Jills photo comes from an appearance in June at the West Valley-Ellicottville Alumni Football game. Appearing at the event were a pair of statuesque brunette Ambassadors in the form of Lindsay and Jessica W. Lindsay is going into her 2nd year on the squad and is known to overload herself with projects and schoolwork, something her fiance has been helping her to quit doing. Jessica is a rookie on the squad who also keeps herself very busy. She was one of two Jills to work both the Friday night and Saturday afternoon draft parties along with Loren, who also worked the Thursday event as well and after the appearance this photo was from, instead of going home, she went to cheer on her boyfriend in a softball tournament.

From the Bandettes, we feature a photo from the first home game against the Toronto Rock back in February. At the game, the Bandettes unveiled some new uniforms and after dancing in them during the 1st half, they posed for photos to show them off before they went out for their halftime performance. Shown posing here are Kirsten, Stephanie G, Lauren S, and Melissa. Kirsten and Lauren were in their 2nd seasons with the Bandettes while Stephanie flashed her pretty smile during her rookie campaign this year. Melissa, in her 3rd season as a co-captain, has been on the squad since 2005. Her 6 seasons makes her the longest-tenured veteran on the Bandettes.

Bandette of The Week Stephanie

This week, we take a look at Stephanie as our Bandette of The Week. 2010 was Stephanie's rookie year with the squad, dancing on Justina’s line all season. Constantly smiling, this sweet and petite young lady definitely fits in with her squadmates in one respect, at least. The one place she wants to travel to most is Disney World, where a number of her squadmates seem to love going to. The Bandettes head choreographer, Erin Y, has even missed the last two open practices because she was there each time! But much like Jill of The Week Kaitlin, one word used to describe her is sweetheart. She’s a genuine caring person who admits to being self-conscious about what others think of her. Well, for the record, we hope she comes back to the squad in 2011 so we can get to know her better. You can read more about Stephanie at http://www.bandits.com/profileB.asp?bandetteID=201005
